SSETI Express nominated for 'Space Oscar'
 
6 April 2006   The European Space Agency (ESA) sponsored student satellite, SSETI Express, is in the running for one of the Sir Arthur Clarke Awards (The UK Space Awards), often termed the ‘space oscars’.
SSETI Express: power problem
 
31 October 2005   Since Friday morning, the ground control station in Aalborg has not had any contact with SSETI Express. Thorough analysis over the weekend indicates that a failure in the electrical power system on board the spacecraft is preventing the batteries from charging, resulting in a shutdown of the satellite.
Educational CubeSats deployed from SSETI Express
 
28 October 2005   Aboard the SSETI Express satellite, which was launched yesterday morning, were three educational CubeSat satellites each weighing 1kg and measuring 10x10x10cm.
