On 7-8 May 2024, the Earth observation science community gathered at ESA’s centre for Earth Observation in Frascati, Italy to discuss and review ESA’s Earth Observation Science Strategy.
The Science Strategy aims to cover all areas of science to which Earth observation can contribute. The current strategy was published in 2015. Since then, the context for Earth observation programmes has evolved and changed dramatically. The objective of this workshop is to review and develop a renewed Earth Observation Science Strategy that shall address the challenges posed by today’s rapidly changing world.
