The Φ-lab at ESA was set up with the mission of supporting collaborative innovation and accelerating the future of Earth Observation, with a particular focus on AI. Φ-lab and the wider Φ innovation strategy are now supporting innovation across the field of EO, including the areas of smalls sats, drones and VR. Its aim is to connect poeple from different communities and encourage new ideas.
