Artificial intelligence is gaining a growing role in space exploration, colonization and search for life beyond Earth. It won't be long before AI technologies currently under investigation in development, operations and data exploitation will be able to provide applications that will significantly expand the capabilities of space systems. During this Space Bites talks, Simone Fratini discussed with us the role of AI in transforming Space Exploration.
Autonomy, ambient intelligence, operational intelligent assistance, machine learning and data analytics (among the others) will be definitely game changers for space exploration.
