Applications open for the LPS 2019 Climate Detectives School Award
If you are a Climate Detectives team, you have until 15 April 2019 to apply for the LPS 2019 Climate Detectives School Award! The winning teams will present their findings to an international audience during the ESA 2019 Living Planet Symposium (LPS), like real scientists!
The ceremony will be held on 14 May 2019 and during the day, teams can explore the exhibition areas and talk with leading scientists to learn about their work. Students will also participate in the School Lab where space agencies, research institutes and universities will present how Earth observation satellites can be used to monitor and research our planet. Students will have the opportunity to do hands on activities using state-of-the-art technologies while learning about Earth’s atmosphere, oceans and volcanos.
During the award ceremony, teams will have 5 minutes to present their projects and there will be also a short Q & A session. The ceremony will be entirely in English.
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to participate in one of the biggest Earth observation conferences in the world.
