Automated BEnchmarking TOol (ABETO) for ESA IP Cores
Abeto (Automated Benchmarking Tool) is a software tool developed in Python, that serves as an IP management framework for the ESA IP core database.
Abeto comprises an IP database, which centralizes the management of soft IP cores, and a command-line interface, which allows automating the design flow of the IP cores integrated in the database, invoking processes such as configuration, simulation and mapping to different FPGA and ASIC technologies. IP cores can be attached and detached from the Abeto database in a plug & play fashion.

Abeto also establishes a baseline database structure to organize the source code of the IP Cores, offering a template structure that can be used at the beginning of the development. This database structure is in any case optional, and the tool is able to adapt to any user-defined structure.

Developed by Institute for Applied Microelectronics (IUMA) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), 2022.
Abeto can be distributed to ESA IP Core users on demand. If you are interested please contact the ESA IP Cores Service.
