Discover esa-match, ESA's new matchmaking tool
On 23 March esa-match will go live, one of the newest additions to ESA’s esa-star toolset. The matchmaking platform enables economic operators to showcase their competences and capabilities, search for business opportunities and connect to other market participants.
The tool aims to support the visibility of entities registered with ESA, to facilitate partnering, teaming and cooperation between companies and to bring together potentially unknown products or services and latent needs.
esa-match is divided into three main sections: the entity directory, the marketspace and the tenders area.
The searchable entity directory includes the profile pages of all registered Legal Entities and Business Units with a valid status in esa-star Registration. The Marketspace lets economic operators advertise offers and needs. The Tenders area provides access to ESA and non-ESA tender actions as well as ESA Interacts.
A search facility which covers all these areas is available in the Match Area. Entities will also be able to communicate with each other via their own ‘Lounge Area’, a private virtual room where conversations between companies can take place. A Communications feature in the Marketspace also lets entities react to an advertisement.
All valid Legal Entities and Business Units of an entity registered in esa-star from ESA Member States, Associate States, Cooperating States and EU Member States will have an esa-match profile. Profiles are visible to users of other registered entities as well as ESA and delegations.
Companies and organisations are encouraged to enrich their profile pages and to make full use of the features on offer, including the possibility to make parts of their profiles available in the public part of the system which can be accessed without log-in details.
Further information about esa-match, its features as well as access and roles in the system is available now on the esa-match FAQ pages. esa-star users, especially those with the roles of "Entity Information Administrator" and "Business Unit Information Administrator", are advised to consult these pages as they will be able to manage entity profiles and roles as soon as the system comes online.
From 23 March 2021, esa-match will be accessible via the new Doing Business with ESA portal.
