Improved payment conditions for SMEs in ESA contracts

In favour of SMEs, ESA has decided that those SMEs acting as prime contractor or subcontractor, will automatically be granted a 35% advance payment of the contract and/or phases(s) of the contract, irrespective of any cash disbursement needs at the start.

The applicability of this measure in newly issued RFQs/ITTs can be found in the Special Conditions of Tender (see Financial Proposal > Payments).
