The European Space Agency is holding the second workshop on Satellite Navigation User Equipment Technology, NAVITEC' 2004 on 8 to 10 December at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

The workshop will focus on space-borne and terrestrial-based satellite navigation equipment and techniques. The status of the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) and Galileo, the ESA navigation laboratory facilities and the ESA support to the development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) applications will be addressed in plenary presentations.

The workshop sessions will cover the following main topics:
