CIRS
The Composite Infrared Spectrometer (CIRS) will measure the infrared light coming from an object (such as an atmosphere or moon surface) to learn more about its temperature and composition.
CIRS will measure infrared emissions from atmospheres, rings and surfaces in the vast Saturn system to determine their compositions, temperatures and thermal properties. It will map the atmosphere of Saturn in three dimensions to determine temperature and pressure profiles, gas composition and the distribution of aerosols and clouds.
